Shade your table with a teak or hardwood garden parasol. Our Teak Parasol has a laminated teak pole and ribs with stainless steel fittings, and our Hardwood Parasol has a hardwood pole with a rust-free aluminium centre. Both have water-repellent, fade-resistant canopies rated UPF 40+, and a split pole that comes apart for winter storage.
Choose from 2.1m to 3.5m round, or 3m x 2m rectangular for longer tables. To shade a sofa or lounge area without a pole in the way, choose an aluminium cantilever parasol, which hangs from the side and rotates and tilts to follow the sun. Our Lily, Orchid, Daisy and Jasmine tables have a parasol hole, so the pole goes straight through the table. The Daisy and Orchid need no base at all.
| Parasol | Table | Base |
|---|---|---|
| 2.1m round | Up to 100cm | 15–20kg |
| 2.5m round | 120–130cm | 20–30kg |
| 3m round | Up to 150cm | 30–50kg |
| 3.5m round | Over 150cm | 50kg |
| 3m x 2m rectangular | Over 150cm, long tables | 20–30kg |
Allow at least 60cm of shade beyond the table on each side. Choose a heavier base in an exposed or windy spot. Our Daisy and Orchid tables hold the parasol themselves, so they need no base.
See them open. Our parasols are at our West Sussex showroom, between Midhurst and Petersfield just off the A3. Visits are by appointment. Visit our showroom →
Allow at least 60cm of shade beyond the table on each side. As a guide, a 2.1m parasol suits a table up to 100cm, a 3m parasol a table up to 150cm, and a 3.5m or 3m x 2m parasol a larger table. Which size parasol for my table? →
Yes, if your table has a parasol hole. Our Lily, Orchid, Daisy and Jasmine (medium and large) tables have a 5cm hole with a removable teak plug, and our parasol poles fit it. You'll still need a base, except with the Daisy and Orchid, which hold the parasol themselves.
Match the base to the parasol: 15–20kg for 2.1m, 20–30kg for 2.5m or 3m x 2m, 30–50kg for 3m and 50kg for 3.5m. Choose a heavier base in an exposed or windy spot. Our bases fit poles from 38mm to 48mm.
Close it when you're not using it and in strong wind. Our Teak and Hardwood Parasols come with a fitted weather cover: put it on only when the canopy is completely dry, and store it under cover over winter. The split pole comes apart in two, so it's easy to store.
Spot clean with a natural soap, not detergent. To wash it, remove the canopy and wash it by hand in cool water or on a delicate machine wash, then air dry. Don't use solvent-based cleaners, dry clean or tumble dry.
The Teak Parasol comes in green, natural and navy, and the Hardwood Parasol in green and natural. Other colours are available on request. Contact us →
