Our Maluku modular sofa lets you build a teak garden sofa that fits your space. Start with two corner units for a two-seater, add mid units to make it longer, or use three corners for an L-shaped corner sofa. An ottoman doubles as a footstool or an extra seat.
Every unit is solid, high-grade teak with deep, Sunproof Olefin cushions and removable, washable covers. Each one arrives fully assembled and is covered by our 10-year guarantee.

What to look for in a modular garden sofa
A solid teak frame. Many modular garden sofas are aluminium or synthetic rattan. Ours are solid, high-grade, kiln-dried teak heartwood, which weathers to silver-grey and needs no treatment.
Cushions made for outdoors. Sunproof Olefin covers are water repellent, UV and stain resistant, and colourfast, over quick-dry foam on a mesh base.
Covers you can wash. Every cushion cover is removable and washable. The fabric is 316g/m² and rated to 20,000 rubs.
Proper sofa comfort. A 45cm seat height and 12cm-deep cushions, with soft, sofa-style back cushions on our Maluku II.
Room to grow. Start with a two-seater and add corner units, mid units or an ottoman later.

Yes. Add corner units, mid units or an ottoman whenever you like.
The covers are water repellent and the foam dries quickly, but the cushions aren't waterproof. Bring them in during wet spells and over winter, and never store them wet. The teak frame can stay outside all year.
The covers come off. Spot clean with mild soap, or wash them by hand or on a gentle machine cycle in cool water, then let them air dry.

No, they simply sit side by side. Each unit is solid teak and heavy enough to stay put, so your sofa won’t drift apart. It also means you can rearrange your layout whenever you like, split a corner sofa into two smaller sofas, or move a unit out to use on its own.
