Marketing emails

We send occasional emails about new pieces, ex-display furniture and offers, using Shopify Email.

  • If you are not a customer, we only email you if you have signed up.
  • If you have bought from us, we may email you about similar products unless you opted out when you ordered.
  • Every email has an unsubscribe link, or you can email hello@teakunique.co.uk. If you unsubscribe, we keep your email address on a "do not contact" list so we don't email you again.

We never sell your information or share it with other companies for their own marketing.

Information sent outside the UK

Some of our providers, including Shopify, Google, Meta, Calendly, Xero, Anthropic and hCaptcha, store or access information outside the UK, for example in the European Economic Area, Canada or the United States. Where this happens, we rely on UK "adequacy" regulations (which recognise that a country protects personal data properly, including the UK–US data bridge for certified US companies) or on the UK's approved data transfer agreements. Contact us if you would like more detail.

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website.

  • Essential cookies make the site work, for example keeping items in your basket and taking you through checkout. These are always on.
  • Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) tell us how people use the site, so we can improve it.
  • Marketing cookies (Meta) help us show you relevant adverts on Facebook and Instagram and measure whether they work.

Analytics and marketing cookies are only used if you accept them in our cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link at the bottom of every page, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
